In 2005, the Columbia chapter established two $250 educational scholarships in memory of Mary Jane Mendenhall of RE/MAX Boone Realty.  Mary Jane Mendenhall was a long time supporter of Women’s Council of REALTORS.

Each year, the chapter awards one scholarship to a REALTOR member and one to an affiliate member to be used to offset the cost of attending educational classes or events that would enhance the scholarship winner’s professional knowledge.  Applicants are awarded points based upon their level of participation and support in various WCR activities and events of the Columbia chapter.
